 On
October 13, 2009, Lou and Vera Poulos of Lou Poulos Landscaping
very generously donated and planted a large oak tree in Gleason
Park in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida in memory of Ruth Lay Stabler,
who passed away on Labor Day.
Because of her strong love of nature, which she
passed on to her children, Ruth Stabler was the guiding influence
behind this website and many
nature articles and books that have helped to encourage others
to Take Care of Their
Share of the environment.
She will be sadly missed, but we feel her every
day when we stop and notice all of the wonders of nature around
us.
We hope that her tree will remind you to do the
same!
